Our Facilities
Our modern state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of the Australian wheatbelt produce a full range of wheat flours, bakery mixes and associated specialist products for domestic and export markets.
These four mills together process over 1 million metric tonnes of wheat per annum; almost one-sixth of NSW’s total annual production. This is enough flour to make over 100 loaves of bread every second!
MANILDRA MILL
CENTRAL WEST NEW SOUTH WALES
Australia’s largest flour mill grinds wheats to produce a full range of flours domestic and many export markets – from low-protein biscuit and protein-enriched flours through to specialty, household and bakers flours tailored to customer need.
SHOALHAVEN STARCHES
SOUTH COAST NEW SOUTH WALES
The largest wheat starch and gluten plant of its kind in the world operates in conjunction with our world-first ethanol distillery, to extract value-added products from 100 per cent of the wheat grain using the most advanced industry technology available.

Manildra Group owns and operate four state-of-the-art grain storage sites across central west New South Wales.

Supports beef cattle and irrigation programs adjacent Shoalhaven Starches, where an advanced water treatment plant recycles tens of millions of litres of water annually for re-use in our integrated manufacturing processes, and produces methane for energy.
NARRANDERA MILL
SOUTHERN NEW SOUTH WALES
Ideally located to directly access quality wheats from both dryland and irrigated crops in the MIA (Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area), producing quality flours for biscuit manufacturers, bakery mixes and other specialty flours.
GUNNEDAH MILL
NORTHERN NEW SOUTH WALES
With access to high-protein hard and durum wheats, careful wheat selection and highly-efficient purifiers at this modern facility guarantee the highest-grade semolinas, consistent in quality and uniform in colour, to produce premium pasta.
MSM MILLING
CENTRAL WEST NEW SOUTH WALES
A fully integrated oilseed crushing, oil refining, packaging, and stockfeed manufacturing operation established in Manildra in a partnership between Manildra Group and farming brothers Bob and Pete Mac Smith.
MANILDRA HARWOOD SUGARS
NORTHERN NEW SOUTH WALES
Produces a range of dry and liquid sugars through mills at Condong, Broadwater and Harwood, and our Harwood refinery, in a partnership between Manildra Group and the grower-owned NSW Sugar Milling Co-operative.
ALTONA MIX PLANT
